Rossi signs with Ducati

Awesome news, well stoked, the greatest rider ever riding the greatest ever motorcycle. Will be interesting to see how the bike developes and if Rossi can pull off a MotoGP title on a third marque.

Same here. With Rossi's accident and Lorenzo dominating, it's almost boring to watch the rest of the season.

It'd be nice if Rossi could win another championship, which if at all, would be on his last year (2012). I said 'if at all' because in 2012 the change to 1000cc will take place, and he'll have to develop that one too. But at least everybody else will have to do the same. Should be at interesting 2 years, but at 33 by then, with bones much more fragile, it'd be an incredible feat for Rossi to win another championship, but if the bike cooperates, and with some luck (of not getting badly injured again), it's possible.

True, but now we get to see if Stoners bike is really the handful he has said it is this year. I think Rossi might be able to do great there but keep in mind Stoner hadnt won a single race this year, and were not talking a second tier rider here. Nicky either for that matter but lets face it, he hasnt been a contender since his championship and to be honest, I didn't think he dominated then at all either. Of couse your own team mate (PUDrosa)taking you out towards the end of a championship doesnt help...but I digress..

Pedrosa is a tool. I hope Stoner cleans his clock next year.

Very interesting. I almost wish Rossi would give up bikes and move to 4 wheels, just to see what he could do.

That should be soon. I think he was stupid to sign on MotoGP again; at 30, he's senile to be racing motorcycles at that level IMO, but I wish him luck. At 32, he'll probably be too old for any F1 team to take him IMO, but we'll see. It'd be unprecedented for anybody to start that old, and straight to F1. If that happens, it'd be a pure marketing move IMO. Look at Schumacher; he's a 7-time world champion, and making a fool out of himself with the more talented young guns. And no, it's not the car ; it WAS the car and his (and Ferrari's) questionable tactics that made champion 7 times, not his driving IMO .

Rossi to Ducati

...and his crew chief (J. Burgess) is now confirmed to be joining him. It's going to be interesting.

About Schumacher, I don't know, I don't think you can win 7 titles by only using questionable tactics. Granted, it happened on occasions, but let's not forget the memorable races. In addition, he was part of the team that developed that winning car.
