Well there is no doubt that it is a good looking car. I just wish they would fix those lazy taillights.

Too bad it's slow, or they'd sell a lot more.

Both 328i and B8 A4 start at $32,700. It's a choice of preference at that point.

And about the speed, the regular 2.0T in the new A4 is rated at 211 hp and 258 lb-ft. That's more paper figures than the 328i but the A4 is heavier. Chipping the 2.0T engine will without a doubt, make it significantly faster.

I'm not biased or anything, I'm just trying to level out the playing field here.

How did the B7 A4 2.0's react to a tune? What kind of power/tq do they make with the best tune?

You can expect a good +50 chp at least. I dynoed with a B7 A4 2.0T. All he had was a chip. I have a 1.8T with a K04 turbo, and everything from turboback exhaust to FMIC. He emabarassed me...

It's a great engine.

This winter the MT will be available. I am actually going to test drive the 2.0T in about an hour. I'll post pictures and a mini review when I get back.
