Mesh Alloy Wheel Advice...............
I am making the move this spring on getting a set of aftermarket street wheels and tires. I love the concave mesh look specifially the wheels below which I believe are Alloy Technic Mesh. Please confirm if you know. Are these wheels avaliable??
I think they are 20" but living in Toronto with potholes galore I'm leaning towards 19". Any suggestions on a similar mesh wheel that is avaliable? Photos and sizes would be great!!!

I heard the 359M wheels are made by BBS for BMW, and they are REALLY cheap compared to BBS or HRE, jsut a thought, plus if you bent one on a pothole, you could easily get a replacement. The ones in the pic are pretty awesome though, they definetly look better.

I searched the web and the only site that I can find is wheel experts with this wheel. Is this who you bought yours from? Link to alloytechnic.com seems to be dead too. Are they still around? Thanks to all for the advice guys!!!

It's in that thread actually... I got them from WSTO
http://www.wheelsto.com/ I'm not sure what happened to Alloy Technic.. I wasn't aware they went away.. I still have my set.. A detailer ruined the finish on a couple of the rims and I was going to have them redone in gunmetal this summer.. They are fairly expensive rims.. I think they retailed for $6K a set and they were made in the US.. Forged in Texas and finished in California.. --mike |
