I'm not sure. As a rule I'm only good at premeditated spending, though sometimes my impulse purchases are incredible.

It would be used for building a website that I think has a very strong potential of making bank and I'd use what's left over for advertising or servers for the site or something...

The only barrier I have from making my ideas a reality is a lack of funds.

Do you think it's worth it over the traditional braces? It's more than 50% of the cost of a traditional one and it goes off in due time.

Since I have no debt, I would just let the $5k sit in the bank for a while. I'll talk to a few respected people and get their decisions weighted in before making moves.

Tough to long gold right now. Although, I do think it might go up more. For me, it was tough at $1,000 and it keeps going...

You have at least two more years of precious metals rising. Obama has shown his cards and it's obvious he will continue to print cash and keep dollar value low, inflation, which is good for gold. Now looking at the rate of increase since election it looks like you should make 15-20% in two years. Another option is play the market, it's pretty risky right now but there are still people making a killing. I bought stock sirius made 400% in 2 yrs and I still play that stock.
