I had Le Mans blue ext with individual Platinum interior. The trim I wanted piano black which I was told by a local dealer they could buy/install separately. Steve Thomas said no, but I would have settled for burl walnut for their price. Nevertheless now I'm just gonna shop around for used for the same config without interior I want (ZCP, ZPP, apps, premium sound, moonroof).
Dealer up here wanted way too much profit and the quotes were hideous, pretty sure lining their pockets. Too many rich in the bay. |

So, cwg, I am on my way now also....just received notice today that car was built.
A comparison timeline: 15 April: placed order 19 April: PCD date confirmed (28 June) 25 April: "production begins, estimated completion date 6 May" 3 May: in body shop 4 May: in paint shop 7 May: "your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit" I'm pretty impressed with how quickly that all went. Of course - from the other threads in this forum - I'm braced for the next part..... |

Interesting, your build took just over two weeks from time of order and mine took a month. I wonder why that is. Maybe your dealer had an earlier allocation. What is your build?

Yeah I think my dealer had an allocation and I was kinda on their ass to rush it. My build is AW coupe, 6MT, Anthracite & Black Cloth/Leather, Competition Package, & Premium Package. |

Just got an email from my CA - my car was loaded onto the Sagittarious Leader yesterday. It got to the docks on 5/8 and in the ship the very next day!!! I was expecting at least a week wait. I wonder if that is a record for shortest time ever on the docs. The ship now goes to Port Hueneme CA, expected to arive 6/7/13. Anyone else on board?

Been tracking Sagittarius Leader. She made it through the English Channel and is now sailing the Celtic Sea off the coast of France headed to the Panama Canal about 4300 miles to go till she gets there. Expect she wii be out of range of this tracking site in 24 hours or less
