F1 2012

Hi guys,

There are quite a few of you here who live in Melbourne and wondering if you might have any tips for going to the F1.

I am planning on driving down so thinking of staying somewhere a little bit out of the city but somewhere where it would be convenient to get to the event, either by public transport or is there even anywhere to park nearby and then get a tram?

Never been to Melbourne so open to any suggestions!

Bayview on the Park is close to the city and is comfortable, well priced and has undercover parking included. Its in Albert Park and has tram services close in St Kilda road. Just make sure and take thermal underwear. ;-)

Only a couple of weeks before the event so might be booked out already!
