Just wondering- how are so many people in the army able to afford new m3s?

First off, military sales which gets you the car under invoice, second, I dont think many lower ranking people are getting these cars. if a guy is single, and higher ranking, these cars are not out of reach. also, it all depends on how you have managed your money in your life.

Just to clarify I did not mean to ask that question in a negative aspect. I was just curious, and I had heard about military discounts but I thought that was only on US manufactured cars.

no harm no foul bro! It is actually a really great program. A 135 without any options can be had for really close to 30,000! Not bad at all...

WOW! I would normally bitch about other people getting such ridiculous discounts, but our service men & women deserve it.

Yeah, x2 on m3dina's comments about service men and women deserving some sort of awesome discount.

Awesome ride. Too bad it's not a convertible with black interior. I'd be all over this one now that I've sold my M.

Be safe out there and GLWS!

Thanks for all the good comments guys. Seriously though, I love this car so its no big deal for me if I get to hold onto it. I will start to drive it in another week again though so the miles won't stay where they are currently. We will see if the right deal comes along! Again, thanks for all the well wishes.

Well, it is a good price. If we put an ED order for a similar car (own colors & options), it wouldn't be $5K more. Then it's original warranty with more time to run miles to 50K and you are the first owner. The military discount is pretty good. If I were the seller, I'd drop the price a bit to move the car. I would not sit on it in storage because the depreciation is real bad and the car is not meant to sit.
