anyone else watching 'the event' on nbc?

I watched it....but can't get past the feeling that it will be several seasons/many episodes before we get to find out what that "flash" was even about.

This is exactly why I will not give this show a moment of my time. Just like lost. the only episode I ever watched was the last one and that was because my girlfriend wanted me to and promised a BJ. I may consider this show if said offers are made again.

Is was OK, didn't blow me away though. It does have the Lost feeling though, the network says they plan to reveal things after the first couple of episodes, unlike Lost. We will see.

The show after, Chase was absolute garbage and I could only stand 10-15 minutes of it.

I watched both episodes last night. Wife shot it down last week and I was too lazy to get up and go to the other TV so I trolled e90post. But this week wifey is out of town so I caught last weeks show on the SyFy channel and then switched over and caught this weeks show so I got to watch them back to back with pRon during commercial breaks. House to yourself is awesome.

I liked it. If feels kind of like last years show Flashforward that was cancelled just with a different twist. I miss flashforwad but we"ll see how this goes. If no answers in a few weeks I'm out.

I'm watching it right now while waiting for "hawaii five-o" to come on (that korean chick grace park is just so cute somehow). Anyhow, I must say that this show is pretty good. There's something missing from it but I'm liking it so far.
