I was thinking the same.
Since year 2000-2011, I've never spent more than $7,000 on a vehicle. This year was a year of a car buying spree. The Car forum doesn't help either. LOL

I think my future buylist is similar to yours.
GT3 is definitely on my buylist. R8 V10+ and/or Lambo Gallardo is another. However, something miracle has to happen for me to do that.

Btw I would stay away from any pre-2012 GTRs as the early production cars had and still have lots of transmission issues. Although they can be rebuilt nowadays (still a couple thousand $$ fix) unlike for the early adopters where buying a new transmission was the only option.
Lack of driver involvement? The GTR is very engaging from my couple of weeks so far... And I'm still in the break in period. What's missing is a good exhaust note, which a $750 I mid pipe will cure (my HKS non resonated is on the way). It's the only MUST modification. Other than that, if you have the urge for one, and have the finances for one, you have to be able to convince the dealer for a short test drive. If so, you'd be sold. I hear great deals on 2014's. Good luck!

My dad's in the market for a new car, himself, and he'll be test driving a B.E. tonight. I'll try and meet up with him to experience the GTR myself, lol. I know it's blindingly fast, but I probably won't be prepared for it. Can't wait though, and congrats on your car!

i prefer highway 28 to deals gap. Deals gap is too slow for my liking

the first couple miles after the outlook are more fun than the actual dragon to me also

So with this build we decided on the AMS Alpha12 turbo kit with a little TSM twist. We wanted to extract absolutely as much power as possible out of the Alpha12 turbos so we modified a few things. We started buy removing the .82 Tial hot sides and installing 1.03 in order to allow more exhaust flow and make a little more power up top. To compliment that we built custom 3.5 inch intakes as well as 3.5 inch TSM downpipes to flow as much air throughout the system as possible without restriction. We then built a 3.5inch runner to 4" y-pipe in order to make sure we didn't cause any un-needed bottle necks.

1.5 inch open dumps off of each wastegate and 4 inch ultimate racing exhaust

the previous video was on wastegate boost so you cant really hear the dumps as loud as you can at full power

Hmmm. I don't think I'd describe it as "lack of driver involvement" so much as the limits are so freaking high that the car just plain goes where you want it. It does, to a very large extent, make you look good as you can dump it into a corner and mat it, and the car will sort it all out, if that's how you choose to drive. It is a completely different driving experience in that it is just so mind bendingly FAST.

What mods have you done if any? I had a non res HKS midpipe fit last week... And installer talked me into the SBD700 kit which was 10% off yesterday from GTRLife so picked up the package minus the exhaust and midpipe. Keeping the OEM exhaust since already have the HKS and also the downpipe will generate a lot of engine noise. The car has so much presence... Amazing!

i always find it funny to hear people`s dads getting a GTR.

IMO a GTR is not really a older persons car. Its wicked fast, and rough. my dad likes his caddys haha
