rear differential cover torque specs?
been searching around for this. what is the recommended torque spec for the differential cover for the e90 m3?

anybody. couldnt find this online and had the car in the air so used 52ft-lbs. a few seemed to be slightly looser than this.

thank you so am i in trouble with them at 52 now. didnt remove bolts just wanted to ensure they werent going to cause an issue from being too loose.

i would say they were looser than 40lbs for some of them. img would you put it in the air again and locktite em or just do it next time i have it up? probably only be a week or 2 since putting in stud conversion kit after back from mexico.

I would personally put the car in the air ASAP and use some lock tight,Good Luck !

i was just making sure they were tight while i was working on other stuff this week but didnt pull them out and use loctite, so did that this morning just to be on the safe side.

smooth was fast i went faster in the wet today than i have to date on dry track which is pretty damn good. drove in mdm all day and got a real feel for the car moving under me. had a tremendous day.
