A friend of mine was just looking to reupholster his PDK steering wheel on his 997.2. Look into DCT Motorsports or Top Stitch Upholstery. I think DCT may require a core exchange.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

tlp used a place that did his headliner. I was going to ask him for his shop's name. I'll post when I hear from him.
I've heard prices in the $500 range, at which point, I'd just by a performance wheel- blue stripe one.

Sounds great. Yeah I know what you mean price wise. It comes down to: Is it better to just pay the ~500 to go OEM or send yours in?
I appreciate you contributing! It's always hard to find a good shop especially for custom professional work like this that won't rip you off!! |
