Rear Shelf Rattle in Coupe Slowly Killing Me

My rear shelf/deck in my coupe has a pretty annoying rattle its had from pretty much day 1. For some reason this coupe rattles way more than my 07 335I coupe. Anyways, i found one fix on this board but its kind of extensive.

Has anyone come up with a simpler solution?

I had this same problem in one of my E46s and was able to take a rear deck speaker out and jam a bunch old t-shirts between the shelf and metal bottom. I may have to try that in this car.

I get some annoying rattle from behind the rear headrests due to the drone from my exhaust. cannont figure out the cause or how to f*cking fix it.

...i do have rear sunshade.

While my exhaust doesn't help the situation, it was rattling before the exhaust.

If you were a man like me you would just stuff micro fiber towels under the rear deck through the trunk.

Damn I didn't even see that hole there. I'll grab some shirts and try that.
