I notice the rear end stability the most during hard launches. I would think subframe and diff bushings would be a no brainer for anyone doing drag-strip or airstrip events.
That's weird about the "heavier" comment. I actually feel that when swapping out my track wheels. I run 245 F 275 R Nitto NT05's on ZCPs for the track and 255 F 275 R Michelin PSS on ZCPs on the street and the wider front tire makes the car and steering feel "heavier" as you say. In fact when I had 18's Apex with 275 RS3's in the front it was almost hard to turn the steering wheel. I had to turn Servotronic off.

How do you like the Ohlins R&T? I have those on my 911 and the drive is pretty harsh (even with the setting soft) but cornering and transition is just epic for a 3,500 lb road car.

I meant "heavier" in the sense that the car feels more planted. The rear end is not as loose or as likely to "lift" over road undulations or when launching. Subjectively it feels like there is a giant hand holding the car down to the road, if that makes sense.

But you are spot on that wider front tires = heavier steering. I am currently running 275/295 G Force Rivals on my Apex EC-7s and the steering is noticeably weighter than my 255/275 Michelin PSS. I actually like it, though I am running a lot of negative camber (~2.0), so the effect on turn-in is mitigated. There is no denying the benefit of all that rubber, though. I cannot wait to take run the G Force Rivals on the track.

I love the Ohlins R&T, at least for the street. It feels more compliant than the ZCP suspension and handles leaps and bounds better. It's honestly the biggest subjective difference in the car of anything I've done. I haven't used them on the track yet, so I can't comment there, but it is both more comfortable for daily driving and more sporty for canyon carving than the stock ZCP.

The knock on their track prowess is that the springs are too soft. That is one of the reasons I went with stiffer sways in the front and rear, which have the effect of increasing spring rate, at least when turning. If they are still too soft, I will likely look into slightly stiffer, linear springs.

My only regret with the Ohlins is that I never got to hold them in my hands before Malek put them on the car. Like the Akra, they are almost too nice to put on the car.

Wow that's crazy about your view on comfort. I didn't think it was possible to get any more comfortable that the stock ZCP suspension given the really low spring rate.

I need to drive your car to see for myself. Let's swap M3's for a day.

I'd be happy to swap! The ZCP suspension is pretty comfortable, but the Ohlins are, in my view, a touch smoother than that, even. Worst case, I think you'd find it as comfortable as ZCP, but with a lower ride height and better handling.

Yes 18s are the only way to go. Hahaha... I say that but there are a few wheel/application options I would break my rule and go with 19s.

If 18s look this good on the F82 M4 (see INDs SEMA car)... they will look great on an E92.

I do! Ether E05's or perhaps E88's are next, once I can decide which I like better. Love how the E05's look on Malek's car but I also really like how the E88's look on the team schirmer cars.

But first, I need to sell at least 1 or 2 sets as I currently have 4.

Cool. I'm a big fan of the Schirmer style E88's as well. That's what I run on my car. Reach out if you want more info and we can get you set up!
