DCT and upshifting in D mode

I recently noticed a change in the upshifting pattern after a cold start.

When I first drive away in D mode, D1 upshifts to D2 at 2500 rpm, D2 upshifts to D3 at 2900, and D3 upshifts to D4 at 2700.

When the car starts in D2 after a coming to a full stop, D2 then upshifts at 1700 and D3 upshifts at 1700. It appears that after the car is warmed up the D2 and D3 upshifting is near 1500-1700.

I only noticed this because the first few minutes of my daily drive is on streets where my speed is 25-30mph and it felt like D2 and D3 had previously been upshifting at rpms lower than 2900.

Has anyone else seen this? Has the DCT software "learned" a new shift pattern?

Thanks.
