I had a girl criticize me for selling my challenger for a "normal" BMW...... good thing I got it for me and not the chicks. My wife likes it... because she can drive it. Driving the Challenger for her on these narrow German streets was like piloting an aircraft carrier through the Panama canal.

Hahahaha. Had that happened to me with a co-worker.

To make a long story short, gave her a ride and she asked why did I paint my roof black... She also added that it might look better if it was the same color as my car.

I told her that it's carbon fiber and it's purpose is to lower the car's center of gravity. I ended up the conversation by saying that it's an option and it came like that when I bought it. The facial expression she had looked like I did not know what I was talking about. Maybe she thinks I made it all up.

At least when you told her is was Carbon Fiber, she did not ask you if it posed a suffacation hazard.

it was more likely SHE didn't know what you were talking about. every single GUY that checks out my car immediately points out the carbon fiber roof.

Mine is not arriving til late Sept, but my neighbor said one girl asked him what was wrong with this roof. He told her it was Carbon Fiber and she replied "Does that increase Carbon emissions? That can't be good for the environment."

And yeah I don't care if a girl knows the difference between a V8 Juice Box and a V8 Engine if she is ugly. Bonus points are only added after a girl has met a certain minimum qualification. Put a new exhuast, angel eyes, etc.. on an M3 and it stand to reason it might look and sound better. But a new exhaust and angel eyes on a used Toyota Corolla and it won't make up for the fact that it is still a used Toyota Corolla. (Don't mean to offend if anyone has a Corolla i just used it to make a point).

I was pulling out of a gas station the other night and a group of like 5 teenaged looking asian girls was walking by and i heard one of them say "wow the new m3 looks HOT" ..

I was surprised she knew it was an m3 and not a regular 3 series..
