Not close to the worst. From an outside perspective, it seems to pan out all around. Agree with the odd call on Orpik, but Neil gave a verbal "F you" on the hit, so something happened (former teammates too). Didn't they call it a rough in the end?

Thought the one Washington penalty in the 1st should have been awarded a penatly shot...thought the other Washington penalty (on Miller...think it gave the first or 2nd of the 5 on 3)...Vegas should have been called on a dive...Miller over reated to the stick in the hands.

Exciting so far...I'm happy

No...missed completely. I would love to see the NHL change penatlies for series that would continue to the next game. Wouldn't see shit like this happen if they knew they'd start the next game short handed.

Just saying...it'd be cool. Shit Malkin would be in the box to start 1/2 the post season games.

Yes, Orpik did initiate contact... this obviously pissed off Haula and he turned around and whacked Orpik back... kinda looks harmless on tape but Im wondering if he actually butt ended him with the stick...

Backstrom was suspended one game in 2012 for a cross-check to the face at the end of regulation. No one was injured. I won't be surprised to see the DOPeS sit on their hands for this one.

I think the official call was "illegal check to the head".

We're in Vegas, apparently the showmanship has rubbed off on the hockey team. I'm disliking LV the more I watch them, and it's not just because they're the opponent.

Neal is kind of a dirty player to begin with. What'd you expect?
Hell of a sniper though. That first goal was incredible. Then the rest of the Vegas team tried to emulate it and just kept missing high and wide.

I think this is a very likely outcome as well. Sure hoping Vegas can steal one to even the series heading home... wouldnt be good going down 3-1.

Stay classy Vegas... No need for that junk at the end of the game.

Vegas could have been up 2-0 or 3-0 after the first 10 minutes. Would have been a completely different game.
