Ipod via Bluetooth Audio Too Low

Searched, looked in the manual, and fiddle too much and still can't figure out why my ipod's volume (via the bluetooth audio connection) is so low compared to my other sources?? Have to really crank it up to hear the music. If I switch sources, the non-ipod source blasts my ear off if I don't remember to turn down the volume before switching resources.

any way to adjust this?

I have the same issue and have not found a solution yet. Someone told me to make sure that Volume Limit is off Under Settings->iPod but mine was already off... I'd be interested to hear if anyone was able to get a decent sound level out of their iPhone/iPod through Bluetooth.

seems strange that this hasn't been discussed before. I've not stumbled upon the volume limit setting but that doesn't seem to be relevant here..

Did you turn up the volume on your iPod? It's just like using ear buds, the iPod has to be turned up and then the volume control on the radio can control the overall volume.

If you use mp3s you can use mp3gain to raise the volume of the tracks
I use it and it makes a big difference

first go into the options menu
advanced
"enable maximising features"
after that if you right click a file, you have the option "apple max no-clip gain for each file"
bascially it boosts the volume as much as it can WITHOUT distortion
the beauty of this software is you are not editing the actualy sound file
you are editing settings associated with the sound file
so there is no loss of quality and every change you do is reversible
