LOL, maybe............ but at least I am not driving a chicks car. You can chip it, tune it , S/c it, full exhaust it, brembo it out.... it is still a chicks car.

Stock for stock............... not in your wildest dreams will a CLK 550 keep up with an E9X m3. Seriously guy.... if that were truly the case do you honestly think MB would have created the C63? When I watch all the comparison videos...um.... yep.... I am certain I have NEVER seen ANY of them compare the M3 with a CLK. Funnier still is the new 1M will more than likely kill it as well.

It's funny cause then you gotta reconsider your claim. The M3 should be slotted against a C63 AMG, BUT the AMG doesn't out run it in a straight line and it loses terribly on the track. If anything you guys should be the ones with a grudge match, not between a different car brand. Mercedes can build a car fast on a straight line, sure, but once they start building a car that can compete with the M3 on all levels then we'll talk. Till then get the fuck out of our forums, your car isn't faster than an M3 as you've been claiming. My car was stock his car has secondary cat deletes, filter and resonators not like its a shot of nitrous, but everything adds up. And for bringing me flowers next time we run, I prefer Roses sweet heart. Have a nice fucking day you clown.

didnt you read the prior posts clk550 ran competition package M3 last night and lost by one car. That being said it's sad that M car cant destroy non AMG car.

Yes, we're on the same page. The CLK is a damn quick car, quicker than it should be, but what I am saying is stock for stock it's a damn close race, but a properly driven M3 will win.

i just know that karan doesn't know all the tricks with the clk550 =D i bet he didnt evn run you in Dyno mode which increases response and frees up power.
You won fair and square ...but not what everyone else claimed on here, if you read all the posts " M3 will destroy" M3 will put bus lengths" etc. all we claimed that properly driven clk550 is not much slower than M3. In some cases we beat M3 probably wasnt driven properly... all we want is M3 people to admit that clk550 is not as slow as they all claim it to be.

Holy Irony, I just had a guy in a clk 550 with some type of great sounding exhaust try me on the turnpike. As he was coming up fast, I noticed him, dropped 2 gears and gave it a stab on the gas. He heard my exhaust and was interested. Lined up at 55, 3 honks and, away we went. He fell into my rear view mirror immediately, I was pulling from him easliy and at 140, backed off with a 6 car length lead. I slowed up and he said " That thing sounds amazing, what's the redline"?, I told him and complimented him on the beastly sound of his exhaust. He said he had a Karlson(spell check) exhaust. I have a full AA exhaust with X-pipe and their tune. Saluted each other and he went on 826 and I turned on to 874. That car has some power but, not even close. Woulda video'd but, I was solo. Food for thought!

The CLK will never be a girls car. Though the 3 series and C class will be.
Everyone knows BMW trolled the M car it should have had at least another 50 horsepower. That is why all the 335i losers are scrubbing the M3's with tunes in the straight line.

Thanks, it is quick! He tried me, had it coming. Have you heard of that Karlson exhaust for the clk550, he said he had? It sounded great, nice mean growl. Not quite like a no cat C63 which a Bud of mine has but, sounded nice. BTW, He get's me off the line untill 70 when I start to claw back, by the 1/4 it's a bumper either way, beyond that, I pull on him slowly till top end

Here's some runs with my buds 465 whp and 353 lb/ft , race fueled, turbocharged s2000. The first runs are the stock red M3, after, I give him a few runs after the stock one got killed 3 times. I hit the limitter on the first run , the others were close with some obsticles

it's not a full cat back exhaust basically he freed up some sound thats about it.
Sad part there is not much performance parts for clk550 for now, since we share the same engine as the new E550 coupe and people are inquiring for parts we shall have some soon.
There is a supercharger kit in development, headers etc.

That s2000 tore you a new one =D

Watch again my MB friend. My car isn't the Red one, Mine is the Black Sedan that starts 1 min and 20 seconds into the video, watch it all or fast forward. The first run I was in the wrong gear and hit the limiter and fell off. The other 4 were very close.
