It's funny cause then you gotta reconsider your claim. The M3 should be slotted against a C63 AMG, BUT the AMG doesn't out run it in a straight line and it loses terribly on the track. If anything you guys should be the ones with a grudge match, not between a different car brand. Mercedes can build a car fast on a straight line, sure, but once they start building a car that can compete with the M3 on all levels then we'll talk. Till then get the fuck out of our forums, your car isn't faster than an M3 as you've been claiming. My car was stock his car has secondary cat deletes, filter and resonators not like its a shot of nitrous, but everything adds up. And for bringing me flowers next time we run, I prefer Roses sweet heart. Have a nice fucking day you clown.

no one said that M3 is not a great handling car no one claimed that on any level.
We all know M3 is a great car and it's great on the track and it's nimble all we claimed was that clk550 can keep up and some cases win a straight line race against M3. are we on the same page? |

Holy Irony, I just had a guy in a clk 550 with some type of great sounding exhaust try me on the turnpike. As he was coming up fast, I noticed him, dropped 2 gears and gave it a stab on the gas. He heard my exhaust and was interested. Lined up at 55, 3 honks and, away we went. He fell into my rear view mirror immediately, I was pulling from him easliy and at 140, backed off with a 6 car length lead. I slowed up and he said " That thing sounds amazing, what's the redline"?, I told him and complimented him on the beastly sound of his exhaust. He said he had a Karlson(spell check) exhaust. I have a full AA exhaust with X-pipe and their tune. Saluted each other and he went on 826 and I turned on to 874. That car has some power but, not even close. Woulda video'd but, I was solo. Food for thought!

The CLK will never be a girls car. Though the 3 series and C class will be.
Everyone knows BMW trolled the M car it should have had at least another 50 horsepower. That is why all the 335i losers are scrubbing the M3's with tunes in the straight line. Intresting: CLK550 Horsepower 382 @ 6000 rpm Torque (lb-ft) 391 @ 2800-4800 rpm Transmission 7-speed automatic Curb Weight 3765 lbs. Thanks, it is quick! He tried me, had it coming. Have you heard of that Karlson exhaust for the clk550, he said he had? It sounded great, nice mean growl. Not quite like a no cat C63 which a Bud of mine has but, sounded nice. BTW, He get's me off the line untill 70 when I start to claw back, by the 1/4 it's a bumper either way, beyond that, I pull on him slowly till top end
