2001 Porsche 911 996 Turbo - Tiptronic - Dymags - No Sunroof - PCCB - EVOMS
I know it's not a M3 but maybe someone else out there is thinking of moving from a M3 to a 911 like I did. Replaced all 3 pulleys only because it was emitting a very annoying squeal. I still have the old ones to show they were in almost perfect shape. March 2013 Installed a Pioneer Appradio 3 stereo/nav June 2013. Had full transmission and transfer case service done. Replaced all seals and hardware. Replaced all seals for exhaust and headers. $5500 in just updated maintenance service. November 2013 at EuroWerks in Houston. Had a brand new Speedtech 3.0 X-Pipe Exhaust installed and put the car on another level response wise. $2700 . January 2014 The Bad: Rear spoiler is fixed in the down position. Spoiler went up and down just fine but was shooting the spoiler malfunction light. The hydraulics systems is still all there. The passenger side ram does have a leak which I assume is the problem. Car does have rock chips due to highway driving. They are mainly where the clear bra ends. The hood has a full satin black wrap on it. The clear bra is still under that wrap. Normal wear for a 13 year old car. The Good: Seat leather look showroom new with almost no wear. Paint is glossy and shiny. Had full detailing done in November 2013. Take it to any mechanic of your choice for a PPI and they will be amazed at the condition of this car mechanically. I have used this car as a daily driver while I have had it and it is an amazing drive. Suspension is unmodified and is very tight. I have all documented receipts/records for the car since new from previous owner and myself in a chronological folder. Thanks for looking and please ask any questions you may have.

The Tip has the same stigma that the auto in the M3's had. The Tip is not a dual clutch but definitely not your normal auto.
