Electrical Issues?

Recently I have had a couple issues crop up on my 08 M3.
The clock started losing about a minute every 2 days and the information screen between the speedo and tach resets itself to not displaying anything after the ignition is turned off.
Could this be caused by a weak battery? There is no other indication the battery is weak (starts right up).
Has anyone else experienced this problem and know the fix?
Stan

Thanks.
A new battery has to be cheaper than a trip to the dealership to diagnose the problem.
Any suggestions on where to get the best price on a new battery?

Phil,
See you at Coffee & Cars on Saturday?
