Thanks for the responses everyone. Im in the same boat debating over the GT or GT2 and am going to settle for the GT and if i want something louder i can just add an xpipe

What is the difference in sound and performance between the GT WITH XPIPE and the GT2 with NO XPIPE. What is the better setup and sound?

Here is my old 2011 E90 M3 with the Turner Test pipes and the BMW performance exhaust.

I didn't like it. too raspy. Had a great tone until you floored it I was all excited about it until I realized that I hated the spitting sound.
