-07 M3 playing noices

My M3 started making some noices, they are not mechanical. There are 3 tones that comes totally random. Its not like the sound when for instance ur low on gas. I cant really explain it.... Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?

Its not the clock top of the hour beep thing? I don't know what BMW technically calls it but I know there is an option to have the car beep at the beginning of every new hour. I can't remember how many beeps it was.

I believe you are correct. I hate that thing so I always turn it off.

hrm I did play around a bit with the idrive, will check it out. 7 pm in 3 mins!!

oh yeah, i remember seeing that option in the manual or Idrive screen. I'm glad I didn't select it. That switch is buried in the menu in the I-Drive.
