Detailer in the GTA
Can anyone recommend a good detailer in the Mississauga. I've got some serious crap on my M3 that just won't wash out. I think it's either sap or bird crap. Thanks in advance.

Ask for Ash tell him Samir with the white m3 cab sent you... He'll take care of you...he does all the detailing for BMW Mississauga New/Preowned Vehicles. I have always gotten my cars washed from there, never had any problems he spends good time on the car and does an amazing job. Probably the only fine details location I would consider for getting any kind of car cleaning/detailing done. Hope this helps... |

For those on the east side (or willing to make the trek); I go to a small independent guy. He is phenomenal. I have had many cars over the years detailed through him (my Bimmers and my SUV now)...usually once a year. He again, caters his business to mostly referrals and car dealers.
He does full wash/wax, engine and interior shampoo. Steam cleans @ 205 degrees and conditions everything after. He even takes out the seats to get every nook and cranny. He is great guy and is an honest dude. He charges $165 for my car and $180 for small/mid size SUV's (wife has a Murano). Last year the Murano Rims started to tarnish (turn yellow from dirt and age)...cleaned em up to look like new (and i tried many of DIY things but couldn't get em clean). He uses McGuire products (which is a personal preference)...works well for me. Name is Rob @ Rob's Detail and Complete Car Care...been using him for about 4 years. I called him before I posted his details to verify it was OK...if you call reference M3 forum or Raj. Good luck Last edited by darklord; 09-16-2009 at 02:31 PM.. |

Hey Marc sent you a pm, maybe we can set something up and I can take a look at it.
I'm a detailer that went into my business full time this year here is an example of my work (120 pics of a GT-R) http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271415. Last edited by Wes_R; 10-04-2009 at 12:43 AM.. |

Wow! What a job you did on your GTR! You are the Ultimate Detailer.
Sorry to go off topic a little. What do you suggest to use to remove fine scratches & haze for the (plastic) headlights. Quote:

Did you do it by hand? Sometimes you need the machine power to get rid of them. There are plastic lens polishing kits out there for rotary buffers, with special pads in small sizes... i think e-shine.ca carries them

Car looks great. I've decided I'm to start detailing the car myself. It looks like a hobby I know I'm going to enjoy. So I picked up a porter and cable hand buffer and I was thinking of ordering this kit.
http://www.zainostore.ca/category/za...ultimate-kit-2 To all the detailers, do you think this kit will be enough? |

I would also suggest you check out Detailers Domain for their 5.5" Uber Foam Pads and Detailed Image for their 5" Backing Plate(both are great stores and forum sponsors). For washing aswell I suggest you get a lambswool mitt. I think I am gonna come back and elaborate more and send you a pm also cause I am typing from my iphone and it's driving me nuts. I'll edit it later when I am near a computer. |
