Any idea if they replaced the rod bearings in it?
That really seems to be the only big obstacle in the way of a decently reliable supercharged 90 from what i've read. |

i would stay away from a SC S65. with already 50km the probability that the engine will not last to 100k is significantly higher than a stock car. Revving a SC'ed S65 engine to over 8,000 is russian roulette. there is a reason why natively boosted engines require different stock design, doing it aftermarket is only ok for an engine that was designed for a rev limit of 6500-7000 max. I would say a SC M3 is worth $15k less than a stock M3 because of the probability to require a new engine especially with already >50kmiles.

I understand why many would say stay away.
On the flip side, I have serviced the daylights out of my SC'd M3 with everything documented by the local dealer, iND or Bimmerworld. I say it depends on how the vehicle has been driven, maintained and the records that were kept.

Actually it was on cars.com that I found the car. I tried Calling the delearship but nobody answered.
http://m.cars.com/for-sale/index.htm...08701&partyId= To be honest I dont know how the previous owner drove the car. But iam more then sure he didnt drive it like a prius. Ive been out of the bimmer world for what feels like 10 years so all the info is appreciated. I have a good feeling the previous owner is a forum member. |

A little extended warranty and those 50 k miles dont look all that bad. Also to be honest the only thing I would do is maybe an exhaust upgrade . But mostly cosmetic. |

Some decent mods for the price, but I wouldn't do it. In all likelihood, you could probably drive it another 50K without problems, but I'd rather have a stock car and add a SC later down the line if you want.
What I'd be worried about is buying a seemingly stock car that was SCd in the past and having no idea |
