What to DO??

Ok ive got a situation at hand and want the whole boards comments and suggestions on this situation!!!
As u all i know ive sold several Euro Xenons on this site with ALL happy customers!! YEs we all know shipping takes forever, BUt u all got your lights right? that or i refunded your payment as soon as possible if there was a situation at hand??? Ive been more than helpful with DIY and and answering PM's of how to install the llights etc????
Well here is the situation at hand!! a forum member here named wws341234
originally purchased a pair of xenons in AUGUST of 06!! immediatly 2 weeks later he filed a paypal claim stating he never got the lights! I expressed to him several times shipping takes a couple weeks and the lights were in route already and he would get his lights!! WEll paypal withdrew his payment from my account and held it until the situation was solved by a paypal associate!!
so the paypal associate asked for shipping info and i gave it to him once i got the lights! the fedex tracking number shows he took the lights... Paypal then put the money back in my account! I never once heard from him again about the lights on how to install them or anything! I figure he was fine and all is well..If there was a problem with the lights wouldnt u tell me then???
Well here it is 6months later and I get a PM from a guy named OFFICERP stating the following:

"In October of 2006, you sold a set of non-adaptive, euro projector headlights to Mr. Willy Sit from Arcadia, CA. The price was $1400 USD shipped from your address in Lancaster, CA to his address in Arcadia, CA. The item you sent him was two empty headlight shells, not the agreed upon non-adaptive, euro projector headlights.

At this time, Mr. Sit would like for you to reimburse him in the amount of $1400 USD. You may reimburse this amount with a check, or through paypal. If you decide to use paypal, please include any fees associated with the use of paypal. The headlight shells will be sent back to you, if you so desire. Shipping fees associated with shipping will be charged to you."


Im outside my mind right now and cant even express how pissed off I am at this member!! YES THATS RIGHT WILLY SIT!! IF you had a problem with the lights u shouldve told me then not 6months later!!! U tried to SCAM me through paypal and know 6 months later ur saying i sent u empty headlights WTF!!!! who knows what u did to those lights know!! THis is your 2nd try to SCAM me and IM NOT HAVING IT!!!!
Please everyone that has dealt with me personally please post how u feel about this situation and what i should do!!

i haven't dealt with you personally, but it sounds like he tried to scam you once and he is trying again. i don't know how many other lights you sold but i'm sure all those who you sold to will attest to it being the correct product. i doubt you should be concerned since if the light had really been empty, you shouldve heard from him in august...

that's not right! i've never bought anything from you, but i've hung out with you a few times. i can't picture you ripping someone off like that. and i'm sure a lot of southern cal people who know you will vouch for the same thing.

Wow, that's bizarre. Personally I wouldn't sweat it till I got some legal request / threat, not some random PM from "OFFICER P." Especially after the guy waited forever to complain and didn't make an attempt to contact you personally. Pretty shady.

Ya I would ask jason or mark to look into if the ips are close to identical but it has been so long and if he has a static ip it could be diffacult to trace. I would just ignore it, he recieved the product, you are a very well trusted member of this community, your not stupid enough to send him empty shells, hes a asshole who is trying to scam a good citizen out of money, what a jerk.

Tyler, just ignore the PM, OfficeRP...how freaking lame...I am sure if you ignore it long enough, Inspector Gadget might PM you too. Btw, if he's legit why wait 6 months to bring up the issue? If someone send me a pair of empty headlight shell, the most I will wait is 6 mins before I drive down and shove them up where headlights don't shine.

Tell him to go screw himself. He needs to prove that the condition the headlights was not adequate...6 months ago. You just need to argue that he has damaged/lost/altered the product during the last 6 months---probably since he was not able to successfully install them. He probably damaged them, not knowing what the F he was doing. That is his problem. You are not responsible for him not being able to take care of property during the last 6 months. You sold him a good set of headlight...many here will attest to your business reputation. He has tried to scam you before...and is trying to pull a fast one again.

OfficerP..hahahha, yeah right. Unless there is some sort of court document served to you...then just :finger:

I would just ignore him. The fact that he lied about recieving the package in the first place totally destroys his credibility in a court. A court would also find it very suspicious that poor wws341234 was so dumb that it took him 5 months to figure out he got sent "shells".

WTF WILLY SIT u haven't been around for over 6months! Take your SCAMS elsewhere im not having it!!!

After looking into this transaction this occured in september of 06!! Willy Sit had filed a paypal complaint 2 weeks after payment of a special order item that ships direct from germany!! he was aware of this as is all of my buyers. the item shipped and I never heard a word from him. If there was a problem with his lights he should have said something then not 6 months later..He couldve sent me a Pm or an email saying there was an issue with the lights. I never once heard from him after paypal resolved the issue once HE told them they were shipped!!!
He tried to scam me by getting his lights and his money back and it didnt work!! Know 6 months later your trying to saying something is wrong with the lights..Sorry but the lights are sold as is and is and shipping takes up to 4 weeks which is clearly stated in all my posts..THere is nothing that can be done sorry this issue has been solved!

The lights you sold me are junk haha, I think I deserve new bulbs haha jk bro. Tell the guy to go to hell! haha
