Is it just me or......
Is it just me or does the M3 logo look small on the new "M"???
On my E46 it seemed to stand out but for some reason on the E92 it seems to get lost.......... Does anyone know if the logo is indeed being made smaller now? It might just look better without it IMHO............. |

To be honest i think you are getting the feeling that the logo is smaller on the E92 M3 compared to theE46 M3 because the overall size of the new M3 is bigger and wider therefore making the logo appear smaller.
I hope i made sense. |

Do you know if the weight saved by removing the badge will be greater than the potential loss of "M Power" ?

OK, but bear in mind that the badge on the E92 is made from depleted uranium and automatically shifts up to 2mm to the left or right to redistribute weight while cornering - you may as well go the whole hog and order a moon roof if you're going to debadge...

actually porsche did/has gone to that extreme, if i remember correctly, on one of the top gear episodes jeremy was testing the GT3 or RS model and he pointed that out that even the badge is just a sticker! so yep debadging is the way to go!! hehe

the badge is smaller because of the new taillight design. it would have looked weird if it was full size because it would have been crammed in between the roundel and the light. mudd786 you are def correct on jeremy testing the white porsche. the front emblem was a sticker.
