FS: UUC EVO3 SSK Short Shift Kit
i am going back to stock, so this kit is up for sale. I used it for about 4,000 miles. the kit comes with what you see in the picture. I think the only thing missing is one of the small hex screws. It is bouncing around somewhere in my exhaust heat shield... this is a fairly easy DIY project that takes about 2 or 3 hours, if you take the shortcut like i did by just bending back the heat shield under the car to get to the selector arm. UPDATE: Price is $200 local pick up, $210 SHIPPED. Last edited by dohnelley; 09-07-2012 at 05:09 PM.. Reason: Price update. |

Reason for selling? How'd you like it when you had it installed?

I went back to stock because i preferred the stock shifter feel over the UUC. stock is a bit smoother, even though the throws are noticeably longer. aside from that, i had taken this off already because i went in for some warranty work and didn't want the shifter causing any problems with warranty claims. so, after installing this once, and then installing the stock again, the benefit of the UUC wasn't worth my time, so i decided to sell.

It might not be the best sales pitch, but the seller is honest about how he feels this unit functions, even if it costs him. Good job, OP. An honest, even if negative, assessment about how you feel the part works is appreciated.
