Question Programming Home-link off Key Card...Possible?

My building has a key card system that opens all the access gates in the garage. So you drive up to gate, swipe your card, and gate opens. Is it possible to program my home link mirror to do so? Would be alot easier using the buttons on my rear view, then rolling my window down to reach out and swipe card each time.

No, HomeLink only works for active RF-based systems. Your key card is probably passive (magnetic/inductive).

I don't think so. The key card readers usually work with RFID and garage door opener using RF (100-400 MHz) range.

Homelink transmits so if the opener has a receiver that can be programmed then you should be able to do it...but card key openers generally don't have receivers.

YES

Not a receiver system, it works on touch of the card to unit.

That sucks
