the mrsp on the vert is more expensive than the coupe. in this case, 50 bucks cheaper, no brainer IMO.

I would go vert.

Easy answer. I'm in the same situation. My avatar says it all.

Part of the greatness of this car is the sound, and that gets so much better with the top down! And you can still power slide the vert with 2 kids in the back if you want to set a fine example of adult behavior.

The M3 is a lot of fun as an occsasional track car but if you are serious about tracking you are going to want a real track car.

There is no way you are going to approach the performance limits of either an M3 coupe or a convertible (or a 335i for that matter) on public roads. So what it comes down to is whether you want the top down driving experience or not,

One week in and I'm very happy with my decision to go with the E93. The engine sounds amazing with the top down, and I haven't even gone past 5500 RPMs (well not much, at least).

Even the look of the car with the top up has been growing on me. I think it looks a little more aggressive. Depends on the color though (I've got Space Gray).

Of course I could just be justifying my $80,000 purchase.
