The only problem with hardwiring is that if you do get pulled over, it's going to be sitting right there in plain sight and there's not much you can do about it.

heres how i have mine behind a tint strip. when you put the sun shade down you can't see them from the front or rear.

note:
both are on for demonstration purposes. I only run one at a time,they will interfere with each other.

Unplug unit and remove. If the cop asks it's the wire for your Garmin GPS.

It's because you're linking to your gmail (at least that is what quoting your original post is telling me). Try saving the pictures to your computer, then uploading them to IMGUR.com or upload them as attachments when you go to the "advanced" posting option.

State of NJ got $400 and my legal dude got $200
Why? well i always drive highway.....80mph.
That evening i was driving the back roads.....thought i was going slow....60mph...empty road....late at night....quiet.....BAM!
Got me....apparently the road was 45mph.
If i had one of these maybe i would have had a warning to slow down and would have noticed the speed limit....so it may not solve all the problems...but it won't hurt.

I just got mine in today. Did anyone else receive the Red version instead of the blue? The red matches the dash and radio, but for some reason I had my hearts set on the blue one.

I have an older red one but I prefer my new X50 Black in blue due to the contrast with the V1. Did you request blue?

It was only supposed to be offered in blue. My order specifically says "blue display." I looked on Woot and it sounds like half the people are getting blues and half are getting reds.

I took it on a 5 hour drive to DC and back from NJ....did it work?
No clue? It made a few sounds...which were interesting. Maybe that's how it gets you to stop speeding....?
Randomly makes a few beeps and creeps and makes you nervous and that keeps you from speeding?
