I wear studded belts and clothes pins in my 80's style jeans with my vest top covered in trendy pseudo-politico buttons to get my rebellious message across to the masses. When I'm blasting my Barry Manilow cruising down the freeway at 130 in heavy traffic, I don't have time to think about scratches in my leather seats. So to answer your question, no.

What kind of jeans are you SoCal boys wearing!!??

True Religion? Rock n' Republic?? Lee???

Come on, guys! Those brands are all so, so 2005ish. Even Diesel has lost it's edge, though, they still fit great! G-Star, Taverniti, even Hudson Jeans are all top choices right now.

Zoiks! Didn't realize so many fashonistas were M3 drivers. I couldn't tell you what kind of jeans I was wearing if you hooked a car battery to my nuts. My clothes shopping experiences consists of only a couple of phrases, "yup these are comfortable" or "Nope these aren't comfortable". The last thing you'll find on my jeans are big flashy buttons or studs. They are just jeans. If you see me on the weekend it will likely be in shorts and a ratty T-shirt thats been in my closet for at least 10 years.

But part of that is I wore a military uniform for 13 years. It pretty much programs you to only care about comfort when it comes to clothes after wearing a uniform all day.

Haha, I thought this was a lame thread at first, but I remember back in the day I was worried about the imola leather in an e46. I had some flaps with buttons on some jeans, I think they were monarch, and would put a towel on the seat when I wore those jeans

Nowadays my jeans are free of buttons on the back and any type of obnoxious branding.

I'm kinda into detailing at the moment, but am less anal about cars for some reason. I do worry about dark jeans on light leather though. Especially when either the car or jeans are new.

I wear Theory dress pants most of the time. I've been rocking the cotton/spandex blend Joe's and 7FAM jeans without buttons for a while though.

Only thing you can do is empty your pockets and change the way you get in and out. Anytime I wear jeans in the M I usually follow it with some conditioner

Levi's Jeans / Dress Pants / Gym Shorts / Hospital Scrubs. No worries.
My friends aren't gay so I'm not worried about them wearing gilded/bedazzled jeans.
