I asked my gf after 4 years for a threesome and well, she started crying and i had to do alot of apologizing. Regardless, as much as we all want it to happen, 99% of the time it won't. And if it does, expect even more problems afterwards.

First don't tell her you like her.. Two part approach here.

One, Just start picking on her about stupid no existent stuff e.g. if your going to pick her up to go on a friend date when you show up say "OK, I am not going to let you leave the house like that, I don't want people to see us and think I am dating some low rent woman, go put on something nice".
