Those with Akra, is it really loud? On what scale of loud would you rate it?
I can't comment on the sound yet. I got 400 miles on my car now, so it want be much longer before I put on the exhaust. I want to hear the stock exhaust at WOT @ redline before I switch to the Akra. That way I will be able to compare the two in both sound and performance.

I got my exhaust system fitted out yesterday and I must say I really cant imagine how much time went into the design of the system. Everything fits up like a condom snugly.

For all those who want to know how it sounds like, it sound pretty much like a stock car but about 40% louder. But the gains are very obvious, at least to me. The RPM springs like there is no resistance. And the weight of the full system is really unimaginable. I can lift off each section with just 3 fingers.

I highly recommend to remove the centre plate that covers the gearbox when removing the O2 Sensors. Much easier to work with. Also when tightening the section from the headers, make sure u connect the x-pipe section as well, as the first time I installed it with the 1st section, it did not seem to align itself properly. After fitting out the 2nd section to the 1st, we realigned it from the header connectors and it was perfect.

Highly recommend Ralf as he packed it up real nice and got it shipped to me in less than 3 days. Ralf was very professional and extremely fast communicating to me on all matters relating to the exhaust and the expected delivery. Even the installed was shocked on how nicely packed it was and there was so much air pillows keeping the exhaust from being damaged. Its almost as though those babies were flying first class seats on FedEx! Indeed they were and indeed they are first class exhaust system out of the box and after they have been installed! That really made me think it was worth all that. Literally every cent. You can contact him here @ info@krenzer-performance-parts.com if you wanna get the stuff from him. Probably the fastest and easiest guy I have dealt so far with.

Here's mine installed.
I was using my Nokia N82 to take this, and did some slight edits to the photo.
Will get better shots when I can.

Looks good. Is there room for a diffuser under there? Seems to be a tight fit.

Update with better quality pics.
As for diffuser, I think it might be a little tight. ButI personally dont like the rear diffuser. I feel it looks more M3 this way.

I agree. Its not just nice aesthetically but you will be so damn amazed on the fitment. Once you line it up, the spaces in between each side is all equal. Talk about precision.

Stunning exhaust. It is the best exhaust out there no doubts. If you consider its 50% the price of an equivalent titanium exhaust I think its value for money as well

I saw and heard my friend's Akra on his E90 M3 yesterday. Absolutely amazing (like most other Akra products) - I'm not sure how anyone would improve on this system.

Just an update. I have been driving around with the exhaust for a while now and its fully broken in now. The sound is now slightly louder than before but the sound it makes is absolutely perfect. Idling is somewhat louder also and the exhaust note is stunning. This exhaust was the best purchase mod for my car so far. I gained a lot of power after 5k all the way it just beats it to 8,200rpm.

For those who might ask, my car was tuned by a tuner who reduced the sensitivity of my O2 sensors before I got my exhaust. Since he is not local, I was a little scared at first but I have to say I have no CELs till now. I am waiting for him to come back around here to fine-tune the car and then I will dyno again. I think he has to tune my DCT again also since the engine is too fast for the gearbox now.
