So what you are saying is that you don't know why Paul Dalton uses Swissvax?

I'll tell you why you don't know... Because your experience and knowledge isn't up to that level.

The best detailing products are not found at the local auto parts store, are they good, sure, but certainly not the best.

Swissvax is not a good example, it's too extreme. There are brands like P21s, Pinnacle, Zaino, Zymol even my new favorite Auto Finesse that are not overly expensive, but certainly much more potent than what is offered at generic parts stores.

Going further, there are brands like Meguiars that have generic products that are offered at local stores as well as award winning professional grade products available mostly to pros and to those who know how to get their hands on it (online).

I think it's a fair criticism to say that most readily available products in your average/generic parts store will not be the highest quality, they will certainly do the job, but there are some more expensive products that are very worthy of their price tag.

That being said, one of my favorite turtle wax products is their tar, sap, bug remover lotion, works like a charm even on waterspots.

This thread was never about the QUALITY of a certain product. It was simply about something that I found to work and produce some pretty damn good results.

But what the hell... people can use me as a scapegoat. I don't mind. I am after all the guy with the blacked out tails, turtle wax and soon to be new Varrstoen shoes.

Haters gone hate! (but I'll still look better )

I thought it was obvious that I was joking by posting the link to the soccer player... and wikipedia is an amazing resource. I can't imagine anyone hating it.

no i replied to a comment where the person gave a link to "paul dalton" the soccer player. i didnt understand he was serious, as stated in my previous comment, so therefore i carried on to briefly say who he is in my comment as this is a forum where people come in to talk about certain topics and GAIN INFORMATION. i then went on to state that dalton's name is on swissvax's highest wax offered to elaborate on why he might have such a big name in the business. swissvax was brought up before i ever mentioned it. seriously stop being an ass and no it's not game over bud

I think you need to relax "bud"..in other news ...Paul Dalton now works as a soccer coach for Middlesbrough in their academy, and teaches pupils at Darlington College.
