I think they do, why not just give them a call. You know what they say "anything for money" well almost anything ... The mighty dollar is king.

Re the cost differance, I am sure you can work that out with your body shop, pay the differance in advance (do expect a 4 to 6 week wait those bumpers are not in stock in North America).

The dealers will not sell them. You need to go to places like ind or eas. They are 2-3 times more then US spec bumbers so it is unlikely insurance will cover it.

No, dealers can not get Euro parts; which is a giant pain... my e46 is Euro spec.

My experience with insurance company is that you can get cost of replacing the original OEM bumper. If you want a more expensive part, then, you need to pay for the balance out of your pocket.

I have only seen Euro bumpers available by IND and EAS.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Prob easier and cheaper to just order the us spec bumper and have the body shop fill in the reflector holes.

They aren't DOT legal/compliant so you won't see BMW dealerships selling them here.

and on top of that, any reputable shop dealing with an insurance fix will not repair your car to NON-D.O.T. compliant...

I got mine from Simon @ Rennspec about a year ago, he sources it straight from BMW AG and you have the option to order it painted by BMW AG as well, which is what I did. Guarantee paint match.

Is that why the shop told me no?

I approached an insurance shop that I had used for a fix to other car... they told me that the holes were too large, might crack, look bad over time. Was that just a bogus response when DOT was the issue?

Ask how i know,
I'd call bs on that. If done properly you can't tell and shouldn't have any problems, mine looks great after I had them filled and haven't had any problems with cracking or them sinking in. It's seamless

Can't figure out how to post pictures on the iPhone app but the can be found here......
