On the virgin drive I was like then later that night I drove it some more and I was and this morning on the way to work I'm like The car definitely has adapted over the course of 30 miles or so. We'll see how it does over the next 100. Hopefully I'll be like this

This is with the VF tune installed, but it still takes time to adapt, add timing, etc. To be fair, it was about 100 degrees out when I first took it for a spin too. But even this morning, it was already 85 degrees out on the way to work. It has adapted pretty quick I must say. It was putting a big smile on my face this morning. Now I want to drive like a true BMW asshole does.

Congrats on great job done and smiles that will bring to you. I have same vf kit on the way for my car and I'm thinking about TTP as well, how much louder is the car with pipes(I have remus rear section), how is the smell, is there specific tune for cars without primary cats to avoid CEC. I would love to hear from someone with first hand experience since I'm not very knowledgeable in all that.

The TTP will certainly increase the sound output of the exhaust, no doubt about it. I'd say a 50% increase in levels. The smell- I don't notice a difference. You will need a tune to prevent the CEL from coming on.

So the VF tune doesn't interfere with other tune/codes performed? Well, aside from mapping and A/F ratios?

It would overwrite any existing tune (and you'd want it to), since there has to be one specific for the supercharger i.e. you couldn't run a naturally aspirated BPM or VF or ESS tune after installing a supercharger. Any custom coding though I believe will stay the same. So yes, only fuel and timing are really affected afaik.

Sure; I've driven this car primarily in the AZ summertime desert since I've installed it so I think that's about as extreme of an environment as you can put this kit through. However, I've also driven it out to Socal a few weeks ago, so I can give impression in more favorable conditions too.

I have absolutely not had any engine codes pop up since I've installed the kit, nor had any limp modes pop up either. The car has welcomed the addition of the kit without any issue. I am very pleased with that. The only issue I have is that in early morning cold starting (usually within the first minute of driving), I occasionally get a throttle lag when coming to a rolling stop. I have been told that even stock cars experience this, so it may not be an issue that's unique to the kit. Putting the car in 1st instead of 2nd when rolling away from a stop is the easiest solution to avoid the hesitation. One other minor complaint is that sometimes I can feel the car pulling timing up top (like there is a slightly wavy power curve), but that is to be expected when its over 105 degrees out and the car is being flogged. So I hesitate to deem that a valid complaint.

When I took the car to CA where the temps were in the mid 60s and 70s a couple weeks ago, the car ran so much faster. I knew this was going to be the case, but it really was a lot more fun and the power was exactly what I expected from a kit like this. I am certainly looking forward to the lowered temps in the desert in the coming months. The heat combined with no intercooler kills a bit too much power for my liking, but, the car is still a lot of fun, don't get me wrong. It is still certainly much faster than stock.

If I could do it all over again considering my climate, I should have sprung for an intercooled kit, no question about it. If you live in an area where the temperatures are milder, the non-intercooled will certainly be fun year-round. I just have to wait a little for that time of the year to pass around, but when I do, it feels like I upgraded for free.
