As far as my wildest NYE, I haven't had much of a wild NYE. Many of them are very memorable but not really off the chain. Most of them are full of inside jokes and good memories with friends. I couldn't come up with a great story for them without some real freaking writing mastery that I don't have.
Fack that sucks.. what were your symptoms? I had a super dooper runny nose about a week back. I mean to the point of thumbing a nostril and blowing snot out of the other, gobs.
No fever or headache.

Mucus city.. didn't get tested, didn't feel the need

My best memories of NYE are all from the UK. I have a lot of friends / family (cousins and sister) in England, and one sister in France. Back in the 90's and early 2000's, I used to spend Christmas and New Years over there.

One NYE, we were invited to a cousins party. The party was on a house-boat moored somewhere on the Thames, close to Tower Bridge, if I recall. This was an old fishing boat converted to a house boat, owned by by my cousin's boyfriend, who was an older German guy.

Anyway, we were all super drunk, and we fired flares when the fireworks went off! We also tried to start up the old diesel, but in our drunk state, got nowhere.

Another NYE, I was with some friends at Stingfellow's, got super wasted and then couldn't stop puking. We had a flight to Paris the next morning, and I couldn't even ingest water. Got to Paris, and got a super bad flu.

This NYE, we stayed at home ordered some food and watched movies. Pretty sure we all have Omicron, and my son's sample has been sent in for testing.

All I would need is a snorkel and goggles and that would have been the best NYE ever:-)

Garage List
I just remembered a wild one, when I was working my in-college job. Worked the third shift on NYE, while most of my family went down to NJ for an NYE family party. I got off work at 6:30 AM on New Year's Day, and had a full tank of gas in my motorcycle. Figuring that the police were all off-duty after a long night of DUI patrols, I drove the 1.5 hour trip down to NJ in less than an hour. The joy of being young and stupid.

When I got to the front door, I reached under my winter riding garb to pull out my key ring to let myself in. What I pulled out was the work key ring...as in the keys that never leave the building since every shift needs them! My personal keys were still back at work. D'oh!!! Long story short, I was doing 145 MPH at one point on my way back to work to return the keys, still with no cops in sight anywhere. I returned the work keys, got my personal keys, and went home to bed by 9:00 AM.....
