Original Le Mans Blue or Matte Le Mans Blue?
I currently have a 2013 M3 in Le Mans Blue and just finished getting it wrapped in clear bra. My installer just showed me a different frozen film that would change the color to a matte finish.
My question is, has anyone seen a matte le mans blue paint job before? and how does it look in person? I dug up some web photos to get your opinions. It is quite an expensive option to wrap it in frozen paint protection film, but far less costly than a permanent paint job and I can only assume less stressful maintaining. Plus the added paint protection film keeps it safe. I just don't want to be disappointed after the jobs all finished... again this one is not my car. so credits to the car and photographer go to someone else. |

Try it, I think it'll look cool!
If you don't like it you can peel it off

I tried shopping around but other installers gave me a wide range of estimates. Some even said they couldn't do it or don't have the frozen film. Plus I learned my lesson trying to cut corners and save money. Like deciding to go with Lux angel eyes, I know there are cheaper alternatives (or more expensive for that matter... OSS), but I am willing to pay for quality as long as it's reasonable and done right. I've seen some shotty clear bra jobs but Protech seems to know what they're doing Quote:
But even so, afterwards the car would be completely protected from scratches and rock chips. Plus it's reversible and assuming cheaper to repair if damaged. Thanks for everyone's comments. You guys are helping me think of things to consider that I wouldn't have though of myself haha.

haha agreed, which makes my decision all the more difficult. I'm flopping all over the place, maybe I should just find someone with a matte LMB and we can share both cars
