My mechanic did. He's crafty and manufactured a pulley removal tool... worked like a charm..

Any idea if you have to unbolt the whole sc from the bracket? I tried just loosening the five bolts but still didn't have enough room to slide the pulley out. Wanted to make sure before I start unbolting unnecessary things.

No need to take it off the bracket... good luck! I installed the supercharger but had my mechanic do the pulley. I didn't want to screw it up...

I'm considering upgrading my ESS 550 kit and would like to know how to replace the pulley. Can anyone confirm whether this can be done without removing the entire headunit/bracket and whether an impact is necessary? Does the pulley slide off easily once the bolt is removed?

For the VF kit, is a replacement pulley from vortech a direct bolt on? no shims or shaving required?
