My MR E92 with VMR v710 in Gloss Black
So, I’ve had my E92 M3 for a few months now and thought I’d finally post some pics now that a majority of my mods are done. The car is Melbourne Red, Premium Package, ZCP, Premium Sound.
I picked it up in Munich in late September and enjoyed Oktoberfest with my brother and two good friends. Tons of beer and tons of cars… perfect. Seriously, what a great trip. The Welt, Oktoberfest, the Ring, Porsche Museum, castles, etc. We even snuck in a side trip to Belgium for a few days. I went through Ryan Amico at Steve Thomas BMW for the deal and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Ryan knows how to get the deal done smoothly for a great price. I highly recommend him… and I don’t highly recommend much when it comes to car sales. I went ahead and purchased the standard stuff from IND… gloss black grills, gills, and painted reflectors. I also got a black badge. I’m very happy with the quality of their products. Everything was easy to install thanks to all the DIYs on this forum. I got 20% tint on the rear window and 30% tint on the other 4 from Bumper Doc on Convoy in San Diego. They did a great job with the vinyl strip. Very pleased. I also installed some aluminum pedals that my brother had left over from his 335i before he made the upgrade to the M3. They look great and the price was right! Thanks Ryan! I just purchased new wheels from EAS as well. I got VMR v710 in 19x9.5 and 19x11 in gloss black (Vader Black). David put together a great price for me for the package with Hankook V12s. The powder coater lagged really hard and it made the wait tough, but it was worth it. It took about 7 weeks to get the wheels because their powder coater dropped one of the original wheels apparently and had to do another one. Ouch. Seemed like an excessive amount of time for powder coating, but David offered to refund half the powder coating price to make up for it. I thought that was fair and appreciated the effort to make me happy. So, if you want the powder coat I would be prepared to wait… but I have to say that the wheels and tires for the price are pretty much unbeatable. It was worth the wait and I am a happy guy. I also added a subwoofer. My DIY for the fiberglass enclosure can be found here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=633713 Only a couple more items are really left to complete the car. I am planning to do exhaust of some sort at some point. Haven’t decided what to do yet, but I’m leaning towards black tips to round out the look. Also, maybe the OEM carbon spoiler… we’ll see. Here are some pics from sunny San Diego. Enjoy. If you see any stuff on the wheels, it’s not an imperfection… it’s just some wheel wax that I needed to buff off. Wheels look really great in that color and on MR in particular. Any close ups of the tint on the rear window? Probably going to vinyl mine to make up for the poor adhesion around the dot matrix.

Anthony - Can you PM me a quote for exactly the same setup in exactly the same color for my MR ZCP?? That looks awesome.
Thanks, Matt
