Connections to stock OEM intake what are they?

Hello all might sound like a dumb question but here it goes.

My buddy is making a custom intake manifold for his s65 question is will he need to use all the oem connections? For those with superchargers do those aftermarket manifolds still use the oem connections sensors, hoses etc?

Depends on how custom he wants to get I guess.
