But seriously I would like to know because most members going the other way round, changing from the manual to the DCT. I am interested to see why someone have chose the other way.

i think m-dct would not feel as good as the 6mt, i was ordering originally
mdc-t because i tought it would have a better resale value in the future, i have had a few e46 m3 smg and 6mt, smg is a good tranny (and i compare it to MDCT), but with 6mt you feel like you are in full control of your car, its more fun.

Thanks for sharing that with us.

Not such about resale, you usually only get a premium of £500 for a SMG/DSG car over a manual which equates to a third of the outlay in the DSG and even less with the SMG. DCT will be miles better than SMG but the fact remains that in resale you will be throwing away a huge amount of your outlay.

Totally agree with the connection thing with the car by having a manual.

This is what I get when I try to put up the 6MT club signature. How did it work for u guys without resizing it.
