Elektra roll call?

someone referred me here from the e90 area since no one answers there apparently.

My e92 335x is on cargo ship elektra and the last time i heard of it was on Oct 3rd where it was just off the english channel.

If anyone else is on board or has any more "up to date" info on the vessel shout it out .

Weird, looks like no new information since leaving the range of "automatic identification system" receivers from the coast. Should be popping back up soon as it should be 2 days away from Halifax.

Unfortunately the www.sailwx.info website is notorious for being out of date. My car is on the Carmen, cleared the the Celtic Sea on the 5th and I have no clue where it is right now as well. I was hoping to follow it given it may cross paths with tropical storm Philippe churning away in the Atlantic, with his 20 foot seas. I have forced myself to not watch youtube clips of what happens to cars on these carriers during bad weather...

At any rate, I guess the best thing to do is to plug the Elektra's call sign 9V8798 into the www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ website and wait for it to pop up again as it gets close to Halifax.

Hell fucking yes, someone has responded to my thread! Amen to that, i've been checking marine traffic and sailwx 24/7. I figured if it doesn't hit the ETA to canada i'll get worried.

I hope so too. But I'll trust the captain and I'll trust the ship.

Any word fallin?

I thought the Elektra was supposed to be in Halifax by now, but not showing up yet. The Carmen showed briefly today off the coast of Newfoundland.

I checked real early this morning at i am happy to say it has docked at halifax. One day later than the intended ETA though. If it remains the a one day delayed ETA, it should be in NY by the 13th...and from there whatever time it takes the dealer to receive the car and prep.

My x5 lease was extended 10 days to compensate .....
