No I-Drive radio after BMW Assist expires?

I just noticed today my radio (2009 I-Drive, HD radio, Sirius) doesn't seem to work. All the menus seem there but I just noticed it doesn't pull down the station information or anything. Also, playing MP3s from the USB doesn't do anything either.

I do know my BMW assist is expiring around now. I did notice my Sirius favorites show "$" now

Quick google search says I may need to reprogram my TCU? Has anyone done this?

Update: I let me car sit overnight and next morning it works fine. Weird.
