Maverick PCA DE @ Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, TX

This was my second time @ MSR Cresson. Event was sponsored by Maverick PCA in Dallas/Fort Worth area. I was one of only two M3's at this event dominated by Porsches, some of which were Cayman R's and GT3RS's. I also was the only M3 in the advanced white run group. This was a tough field, especially considering that for most of the porsche drivers, this was their home track.

The first day I found myself, re-learning the track and giving many point-bys to GT3's and GT3RS's. By the end of the first morning, I did manage to beat my previous best lap time by 30 seconds. The second day was a much different story as during my first session I managed to beat my previous PR by more than 3 seconds (2:28.27 vs. 2:31.59) and within a second of some of fastest cars in my group. I also did 2 laps in the 2:28's and 5 laps in the 2:29's.

Thanks! Yes, that was my last DE for a while. Baby "Andrew" is due in June!
