Spring choices between H&R sport or race? Will race work with EDC?
Hey Everyone just wanted some input on which springs to get H&R sport or race and what are the differnces, does anyone have race? i have noticed everyone runs the sport springs, and how much more damage does the race springs do to the shocks then the sport ones, how wil the race springs work with a zcp car? thanks

I don't know the technical answer. I know one person who claims his OE dampers went out quickly after installing the race springs; maybe coincidence. I drove his car with the springs, and I can say they would be unacceptable to me in a street car. If the rate is truly in the "race" category, then my guess, the OE dampers are indeed not compatible with them. Ride quality aside, and assuming street tires and otherwise stock suspension, I think you would likely reduce the mechanical grip of the car. I think the race springs are a mistake in any street application.

Since there's no difference in drop, I see no reason to get the race ones.
According to H&R: Performance aftermarket shocks or struts are highly recommended in this application. |
