RMFD engine is sold by BMW dealer.
They told me that generally, repair or changing parts include engine and trans by warranty uses official BMW RMFD parts. If not covered by warranty, you can choose new or RMFD. |

My M3 was produced at 6/2010 (LCI version),
29300km, N/A engine, akrapovic evolution exhaust, red line 10W60, daily driving, track-day driving about 5~9 times. Quote:

Red Line 10w60 is considerably thicker than the Castrol Edge Professional TWS 10w60, FYI. Not saying that was the cause, but running oil that's thicker than necessary doesn't help.
