Portable Disc Drives?
Now I am thinking about a new Ipod for running as my 60Gig is constantly in the car. Then I see this http://www.pocketec.net/ with a 320G drive. I'm not sure of the dimensions and wonder if it would fit under the armrest? Certainly the Itunes is an easy way to manipulate the songs, but with this much storage one could have lossless with every CD? What other decent archive software is out there?
Of course I have yet to and apologize if this has been covered! |

^ Drives with a rotational speed of 5400rpm will not work, they draw more power at start-up than the USB port will provide and don't initialise. You need a drive with a rotational speed of 4200rpm or slower - the slower the better. Look for portable USB drives that house 1.8" disks to avoid dissappointment. Also iDrive will only index 20,000 tracks. If you put more than this on your hard drive, it will probably only work intermittently.
