Will xpipe caused CEL cause limp mode?

Just have a quick question.

Getting my Akrapovic XPipe installed tomorrow.

Wanted to know weather if I get an CEL due to the change in the exhaust on the way home from the shop will it cause limp mode?

Reason I am asking is that I plan on installing my stage 2 bpmtune with the akra xpipe changes once I get home, not at the shop.

Just curious...but how are you installing the tune yourself? Is there a cost save with the diy or is the bpm software still pretty expensive?

My local indy shop quoted me 1k for the Dinan tune which is the only option they offered...

You'll possibly get an "Increased emissions" CEL. It will one of the only times you get a CEL and a performance increase at the same time.
