Volume needed to bleed to each wheel
I've searched but have not come up with the answer.
When bleeding a e90M3 with a pressure bleeder, how much volume do you need to push through each wheel to ensure a complete flush? I'm sure it's the highest to the passenger rear wheel and the lowest to the driver's side front wheel....but what are the volumes? Anyone know for sure from experience using ATE Blue? |

I run about 1pt through the R/R to get suck out all of the fluid in the line and the bottom of the master cylinder. But that might be too much.

I do about 150 mL per wheel. I also use a turkey baster to empty the reservoir.
And if I am swapping pads (usually the case), I open the bleeder and push the piston in first to ensure that I get as much of the old fluid out of the caliper (where it really matters) as possible. Then you really only need to run enough through to flush the line. Since the inlet (hose) and the outlet (bleeder) are so close to each other I am not confident that the bleeding process clears all of the old fluid out of the caliper.

You cannot vacuum bleed, it's terrible. I've tried with my Mityvac and it's super frustrating and does not work.
